Ps. 44:15,14; Ps. 32:1
Sapientiam sanctorum narrent populi, et laudes eoprum nentiet ecclueia: nomina autem eorum vivent in saeculum saeculi. Exsultate, justi in Domino: rectos decet collaudatio. Gloria Patri. Sapientiam sanctorum...   Let the people show forth the wisdom of the Saints, and the Church declare their praise: and their name liveth unto generation and generation Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright. Glory be to the Father. Let the sighing...
Praesta, quaesumus, omnipotens Deus: ut, qui sanctorum Martyrum tuorum Cosmae et Damiani natalitia colimus, a cunctis malis imminentibus, eorum intercessionibus liberemur. Per Dominum nostrum. Grant, we beseech Thee, O almighty God, that we who celebrate teh heavenly birthday of Thy holy Martyrs Comsmas and Damian, may be delivered by their intercession  from all the evils that beset us. Through our Lord.
Wis. 5:16-20
Sumet scutum inexpugnabil, aequitatem.   But the just shall live for evermore: and their reward is with the Lord, and the care of them with the most High. Therefore shall they receive a kingdom of glory, and a crown of beauty at the hand of the Lord: for with his right hand he will cover them, and with his holy arm he will defend them. And his zeal will take armour, and he will arm the creature for the revenge of his enemies. He will put on justice as a breastplate, and will take true judgment instead of a helmet. He will take equity for an invincible shield.
Ex. 123:7-8
Anima nostra sicut passer erepta est de laqueo venantium. Laqueus contritus est, et nos liberati sumus: adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini, qui fecit coelum et terram.   Our soul hath been delivered as sparrow out of the snare of the fowlers. The snare is brokedn, and we are delivered: our help is in the name of the the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Ps. 67:4
Alleluia, alleluia.  Justi epulentur, et exsultent in conspectu Dei: et delectur in laetitia. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia. Let the just fest, and rejoice before God; and be delighted with gladness. Alleluia.
Lk. 6:17-23
At that time, Jesus coming down with them, he stood in a plain place, and the company of his disciples, and a very great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast both of Tyre and Sidon, Who were come to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases. And they that were troubled with unclean spirits, were cured. And all the multitude sought to touch him, for virtue went out from him, and healed all. And he, lifting up his eyes on his disciples, said: Blessed are ye poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.  Blessed are ye that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for you shall laugh. Blessed shall you be when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Be glad in that day and rejoice; for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For according to these things did their fathers to the prophets.
Ps. 149:5-6
Exsultabunt sancti in gloria, leatabunur in cubilibus suis: exaltationes Dei in faucibus eorum, alleluia.   God is wonderful in His Saints; the God of Israel is He who will give power and strength to His people: blessed be God, alleluia

Per quem majestatem tuam laudant Angeli, adorant Dominationes, tremunt Potestates. Coeli coelorumque Virtutes ac beata Seraphim socia exsultatione concelebrant. Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:      It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:
Lk. 12:4
Dico autem vobis amicis meis: Ne terreamini ab his qui vos persequuntur.   And I say to you, My friends: Be not afraid of them who persecute you.
Protegat, quesumus, Domine, populum tuum et participatio coelestis indulta convivii et deprecatio collata sactorum. Per Dominum nostrum.   We pray Thee, O Lord, may this heavenly banquet of which by Thy bounty we have partaken, together with the united prayers of Thy saints, bring protection to Thy people. Through our Lord.
