Ps. 131:9-10,1
Sacerdotes tui, Domine, induant justitiam, et sancti tui exsultent: propter David servum tuum , no avertas faciem christi tui. (Psalm)Memento, Domine, David: et omnis mansuetudinis ejus. Gloria Patri. Sacerdotes tui, Domine...   Let Thy priests, O Lord, be clothed with justinc, and let Thy Saints rejoice: for Thy servant David's sake, turn not away the face of Thine, Anointed. (Psalm) O Lord, remember David, and all his meekness. Glory be to the Father. Let Thy priests....
Almighty and everlasting God, Who by the ministry of Thy blessed Confessor and Bishops Cyril and Methodius didst vouchsafe to call the Slavonic peoples to knowledge of Thy name: grant that we who glory in their festival may be joined with them in fellowship. Through our Lord.
Heb. 7:23-27
Brethren, there were made many priest, because by reason of death they were not suffered to continue: by Jesus, for that He continueth for ever, hath an everlasting priest hood. Whereby He is able to also to save for ever them that come to God by Him: always living to make intercession for us. For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the havens: Who needeth not daily , as the other priest, sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once in offering Himself, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ps. 131:16-17
Sacerdotes ejus induam salutari et sancti ejus ecsultatione exsultabunt. Illus producam cornu David: paravi lucernam Christo meo.   I will clothe her priest with salvation: and her saints shall rejoice with exceeding great joy. There will bring forth a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for Mine Anointed.
Ps. 109:4
Alleluia, alleluia.  Juravit Dominus, et non poenitebit eum: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia. The Lord hath sworn, and He will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according of the order of Melchisedch. Alleluia.
Lk. 10:1-9
At that time, Jesus appointed also other seventy-two: and he sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself was to come. And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest. Go: Behold I send you as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes; and salute no man by the way. Into whatsoever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. And in the same house, remain, eating and drinking such things as they have: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house. And into what city soever you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them: The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Ps. 67:36
Mirabilis Deus in sanctis suis: Deus Israel, ipse dabit virutem et fortitudinem plebi suae benedictus Deus, alelluia.   is wonderful in His Saints: that God of Israel is He Who will give power and strength to His people; blessed be God, alleluia.
Preces nostras, quaesumus, Domine, et tuorum respice oblationes fidelium: ut tibi grate sint in tuorum festivitate sanctorum et nobis conferant tuae propitationis auxilium. Per Dominum nostrum. Have regard, we beseech Thee, O Lord, to the prayers and offerings of Thy faithful people, and grant that they may be pleasing to Thee on this festival of Thy Saints, and may obtain for us Thy mercy and help. Through our Lord.
The Common Preface
Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:   It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:
Mt. 10:27
Wod dic vobis in tenebris dicite in lumine, dicit Dominus; et quod in aure audintis, praedicate super tecta. That which I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light, saith the Lord: and that which you hear in the ear, preach ye upon the house-tops.
We beseech Thee, almighty God, that Thou Who didst vouchsafe to bestow upon us these heavenly gifts, wouldst also, by the intercession of Cyril and Methodius, Thy Saints, give us the grace to despise earthly things. Through our Lord.
