Ps. 63:11,2
Laetabitur justus in Domino et sperabit in eo et laudabuntur omnes recti corde. Exaudi Deus, orationem meam cum deprecor: a timore inimici eripe animam meam. Gloria Patri. In laetabitur justus in Domino....   The just shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall hope in him: and all the upright in heart shall be praised. Hear, O God, my prayer, when I make supplication to thee: deliver my soul from the fear of the enemy.  Glory be to the Father. The just shall...

O God, Who sendest us joy year by year the feast of blessed Hyacinth, Thy Confessor, which we are now keeping: mercifully grant on this day of his heavenly birth that we may grow like him in deed. epistle
II Tim. 2:8-10; 3:10-12
Dearly beloved, be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel. Wherein I labour even unto bands, as an evildoer; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience, Persecutions, afflictions: such as came upon me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra: what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me. And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.

Ps. 36:24,26
Justus cum ceciderit non conlidetur quia Dominus subponit manum suam tota die miseretur et commodat et semen illius in benedictione erit   When he shall fall he shall not be bruised, for the Lord putteth his hand under him. He sheweth mercy, and lendeth all the day long; and his seed shall be in blessing.
gospel
Mt. 10:26-34
Nolite ergo timere multis passeribus meliores estis vos. Omnis ergo, qui confitebitur me coram hominibus, confitebor et ego eum coram Patre meo, qui in coelis est.   At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: Nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known. That which I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light: and that which you hear in the ear, preach ye upon the housetops. And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Fear not therefore: better are you than many sparrows. Every one therefore that shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.

Preface
The Common Preface
Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:      It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:
