Phil 2:10-11; Ps. 5:12,13
In nomine Jesus omne genu flectatur, coelestium, terrestrium, et infernorum: et omnis lingua confiteatar, quia Domnis lingua confiteatar, quia Dominus Jesus Christus in gloria est Dei Patris. (Psalm) Gloriabuntur in te omnes qui diligunt nomen tuum: quoniam tu benedices justo. Gloria Patri. In nomine...   In the Name of Jesus let every knee bow, of things in heaven, on earth, and under the earth: and let every tongue confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.(Pslam) All they that love Thy name shall glory in Thee: for Thou wilt bless the just.  Glory be to the Father... In the Name of Jesus...

O God, who to spread the greater glory of Thy Name, didst, by means of blessed Ignatius, strengthen the Church militant with a new army: grant that with his help, and through his example, we may so fight on earth as to become worthy to be crowned with him in heaven. Through the same our Lord.

epistle
II Tim 2:8-10; 3:10-12
Dearly beloved, be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel. Wherein I labour even unto bands, as an evildoer; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience, Persecutions, afflictions: such as came upon me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra: what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me. And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.

Ps. 91:13,14,3
The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he sall grown up like the cedar of Libanus in the house of the Lord. To show forth Thy mercy in the morning, and Thy truth in the night.
Alleluia
Jas. 1:12
Alleluia, alleluia. Alleluia   Alleluia, alleluia. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation, for when he hat been proved, he shall receive the crown of life. Alleluia.
gospel
Lk. 10:1-9
At that time, Jesus appointed also other seventy-two: and he sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself was to come. And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest. Go: Behold I send you as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes; and salute no man by the way. Into whatsoever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. And in the same house, remain, eating and drinking such things as they have: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house. And into what city soever you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them: The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Ps. 88:25
My truth and My mercy shall be with him: and in My name shall his horn be exalted.

Preface
The Common Preface
Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:      It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:

I am come to send fire upon the earth, and what will I but that it be enkindled?
