epistle
Jas. 1:2-12
Brethren, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation; that we also may be able to comfort them who are in all distress, by the exhortation wherewith we also are exhorted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us: so also by Christ doth our comfort abound. Now whether we be in tribulation, it is for your exhortation and salvation: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation: or whether we be exhorted, it is for your exhortation and salvation, which worketh the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer. That our hope for you may be steadfast: knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ps. 36:30,31
The mouth of the just shall meditate wisdom: and his tongue shall speak judgment. The law of his God is in his heart, and his steps shall not be supplanted.
Alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia.  Justus non conturbabitur, quia Dominus firmat manum ejus. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia. The just man shall not be troubeld, for the Lord strengthened his hand. Alleluia.

Mk. 13:33-37
Vigilate ergo, (Nescitis enim quando dominus domus veniat: sero, an media nocte, an galli cantu, an mane), ne, cum venerit repente, inveniat vos dormientes. Quod autem vobis dico, omnibus dico; Vigilate. At that time Jesus said to His disciples: Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is. Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore, (for you know not when the lord of the house cometh: at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning,) Lest coming on a sudden, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch.

Ps. 88:25
I have found David my servant: with my holy oil I have anointed him. For my hand shall help him: and my arm shall strengthen him.

Preface
Common Preface
Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:      It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:

Fidelis sevur et prudens quem consituit dominus super familiam suam: ut det illis in tempore tritici mensurama.   This is the faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord setteth over His family: to give them their measure of wheat in due season.
