Deus, Qui Apóstolis tuis Sanctum dedísti Spíritum: concéde plebi tuæ piæ petitiónis efféctum; ut, quibus dedísti fidem, largiáris et pacem. Per Dóminum nostrum.

O God, Who didst give the Holy Spirit to Thine apostles, grant to Thy people the effect of their pious petition, and, as Thou hast given us faith, bestow also upon us peace. Through our Lord.
Commemoration of St. Augustine of Cantebury
O God, Who by the preaching and miracles of blessed Augustine, Thy Confessor and Bishop, didst vouchsafe to shed upon the English people the light of the true faith: grant that, thought the intercession , the hearts of the straying may return to the unity of Thy truth, and that we may do Thy will with one accord. Through our Lord. Through our Lord.
Acts 10:34,42-48

In those days, Peter opening his mouth, said: Men, brethren, the Lord commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He Who was appointed by God to be judge of the living and of the dead: to Him all the prophets give testimony, that through His name all receive remission of sins, who believe in Him. While Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them that heard the word; and the faithful of the circumcision, who came with Peter, were astonished, for that the grace of the Holy Ghost was poured out upon the Gentiles also: for they heard them speaking with tongues, and magnifying God. Then Peter answered, Can any man forbid water, that these men should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 Paschal Alleluia
Ps. 103:30
Allelúja, allelúja. Loquebántur váriis linguis Apóstoli magnália Dei. Allelúia.   Alleluia, alleluia. The Apostles spoke in foreign tongues the wonderful works of God. Alleluia.
Allelúja. Here all kneel Veni, sancte Spíritus, Reple tuórum corda fidélium: et tui amóris in eis ignem accénde.   Alleluia. Here all kneel Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful: and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
Veni, sancte Spíritus,
Et emítte cælitus
Lucis tuæ rádium.
  Come Thou Holy Spirit, come,
And from Thy celestial home
Shed a ray of light divine.
Veni pater páuperum,
Veni dator múnerum,
Veni lumen córdium.
Come, Thou Father of the poor,
Come, Thou source of all our store,
Come, within our bosoms shrine,
Consolátor óptime,
Dulcis hospes ánimæ,
Dulce refrigérum.

Thou of Comforters the best,
Thou the soul's delightful guest,
Sweet refreshment here below.

In labóre réquies,
In æstu tempéries,
In fletu solátium.

In our labor rest most sweet,
Pleasant coolness in the heat,
Solace in the midst of woe.

O Lux beatíssima,
Reple cordis íntima
Tuórum fidélium.

O most blessed Light divine,
Shine within these hearts of Thine,
And our inmost being fill.

Sine tuo númine,
Nihil est in hómine,
Nihil est innoxium.

Where Thou art not, man hath nought,
Nothing good in deed or thought,
Nothing free from taint of ill.

Lava quod est sórdidium,
Riga quod est áridum,
Sana quod est sáucium

Heal our wounds, our strength renew,
On our dryness pour Thy dew,
Wash the stains of guilt away.

Flecte quod est rígidium,
Fove quod est frígidium,
Rege quod est dévium.

Bend the stubborn heart and will,
Melt the frozen, warm the chill,
Guide the steps that go astray.

Da tuis fidélibus,
In te confidéntibus,
Sacrum septenárium.

On Thy faithful who adore,
And confess Thee evermore,
In Thy sevenfold gifts descend.

Da virtutútis méritum,
Da salútis éxitum,
Da perénne gáudium.

Give them virtue's sure reward,
Give them Thy salvation, Lord,
Give them joys that never end.

Amen. Allelúja.

Amen. Alleluia.
Jn. 3:16-21

At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, "God so loved the world, as to give His only-begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. For God sent not His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by Him. He that believeth in Him is not judged, but he that doth not believe is already judged, because he believeth not in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil: for every one that doth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved: but he that doth truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, because they are done in God."
Ps. 17:14,16

Intónuit de Cælo Dóminus, et Altíssimus dedit vocem suam: et apparuérunt fontes aquárum, allelúja.

The Lord thundered from Heaven, and the Highest gave His voice; and the fountains of waters appeared, alleluia.

Propítius, Dómine, quæsumus, hæc dona sanctífica: et hóstiæ spiritalis oblatióne suscépta, nosmetípsos tibi pérfìce munus ætérnum. Per Dominum nostrum.

Graciously sanctify these gifts, we beseech Thee, O Lord, and, accepting the offering of the spiritual sacrifice, perfect us as an eternal offering to Thee. Through our Lord.

Who ascending above all in the heavens and sitting at Thy Right Hand, poured out the Holy Spirit upon the children of adoption. Wherefore the whole world doth rejoice with overflowing joy; and the heavenly Hosts also and the angelic Powers sing together the hymn of Thy glory, evermore saying:
