O God, with the virtues of an apostle Thou didst exalt blessed Anthony Mary, and through him build in Thy Church new religious congregation of men and women: grant, we pray, that led by hid counsels and helped by his prayers, we may unremittingly work for the salvation of souls. Through our Lord.

epistle
Heb 7:23-27

Brethren, there were made many priest, because by reason of death they were not suffered to continue: by Jesus, for that He continueth for ever, hath an everlasting priest hood. Whereby He is able to also to save for ever them that come to God by Him: always living to make intercession for us. For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the havens: Who needeth not daily , as the other priest, sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once in offering Himself, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ps. 131:16-17
Sacerdotes ejus induam salutari et sancti ejus ecsultatione exsultabunt. Illus producam cornu David: paravi lucernam Christo meo.   I will clothe her priest with salvation: and her saints shall rejoice with exceeding great joy. There will bring forth a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for Mine Anointed.
Alleluia
Ps. 109:4
Alleluia, alleluia.  Juravit Dominus, et non poenitebit eum: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia. The Lord hath sworn, and He will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according of the order of Melchisedch. Alleluia.

Mt. 24:42-47
In illo tempore: Dixit Jesus discipulis suis: Vigilate, quia nescitis, qua hora Dominus vester venturus st. Beatus ille servus, quem, cum venerit dominus ejus, invenerit sic facientem. Amen dico vopbis, quoniam super omnia bona sua constituet eum.   At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come. But know this ye, that if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open. Wherefore be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come. Who, thinkest thou, is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath appointed over his family, to give them meat in season. Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing. Amen I say to you, he shall place him over all his goods.

Ps. 88:25
