Guaudeamus omnes in Domino, diem festum celbrantes sub honore beatae Mariae Virginsi Reginae: de cujus solemnitate gaudent Angeli et collaudant Filium Dei. (T.P. Alleluia, alleluia.) (Psalm) Effundit cor meum verbum bonum: dico ego carmen meum Regi. Gloria Patri. Per Dominum nostrum. Through our Lord.
Commemoration of St. Petronilla
Hear us, O God, our Savior; and as we rejoice in the feast of blessed Petronilla, Thy Virgin, so we may learn a filial devotion to Thee. Through our Lord.
Ecclus. 24:5,7,9-11,30-31
Ego ex ore Atissimi prodivi, primogenita ante omnem creaturam; ego in altissimis havitavi, et thronus meus in columna nubis. In omni terra steti et in omni populo, et in omni gente primatum havui et omnium excellentium et himilium corda virtute calcavi. Qui audit me, non confundetur; et qui operantur in me, non peccabunt; qui elucidant me, vitam aeternam habebunt.   I came out of the mouth of the most High, the firstborn before all creatures: I dwelt in the highest places, and my throne is in a pillar of a cloud. And have stood in all the earth: and in every people, And in every nation I have had the chief rule: And by my power I have trodden under my feet the hearts of all the high and low: and in all these I sought rest, and I shall abide in the inheritance of the Lord. He that hearkeneth to me, shall not be confounded: and they that work by me, shall not sin. They that explain me shall have life everlasting.
paschal alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia.  Beata es, Bigo Maria, quae sub cruce Domini sustinuisti. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia.  Blessed art thou, O Virgin Mary, who didst take thy stand beneath the cross of the Lord. Alleluia.
Alleluia. Nunc cum eo regnas in aeternum. Alleluia.   Alleluia. Now with Him dost thou reign for ever. Alleluia.
Lk. 1:26-33
At that time: the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Who having heard, was troubled at his saying, and thought with herself what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God. Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and shalt bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of David his father; and he shall reign in the house of Jacob for ever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Regali ex progenie Maria exorta refulget: cujus precibus nos adjuvari, mente et spiritu devotissime poscimus. (T.P. Alleluia.)   THAT Mary springs from royal stock shines out: with most devout mind and spirit do we beg the help of her prayers. (P.T. Alleluia.)
Accipe, quaesumus, Domine munera laetantis Ecclesiae: et beatae Virginis Mariae Reginae suffragantibus meritis, ad nostrae slautis auxilium provenire concede. Per Dominum nostrum. Accept O Lord, we beseech Thee, the gifts which Thy Church in her joy doth offer Thee: may we receive in return, though the merits and intercession of the blessed Virgin Mary our Queen, all help for salvation. Through our Lord.
Commemoration of St. Petronilla
May this sacrifice of Thy dedicated people be accepted by Thee, O Lord, in honor of Thy Saints: to whose merits we attribute the help afforded us in tribulation. Through our Lord.
Preface of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Cum quibus et nostras voces, ut admitti jubeas deprecamur, supplici confessione dicentes:   It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto Thee, O holy Lord, Father almighty, everlasting God: and that we should praise and bless, and proclaim Thee, in the Festivity of the Blessed Mary, ever-Virgin: Who also conceived Thine only-begotten Son by the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost, and the glory of her virginity still abiding, gave forth to the world the everlasting Light, Jesus Christ our Lord. Through whom the Angels praise Thy Majesty, the Dominations worship it, and the Powers stand in awe. The Heavens and the heavenly hosts together with the blessed Seraphim in triumphant chorus unite to celebrate it. Together with these we entreat Thee that Thou mayest bid our voices also to be admitted while we say with lowly praise:
Regina mundi dignissima, Maria Virgo perpetua, intercerde pro nostra pace et salute quae genuisti Christim Dominum, Salvatorem omnium. (T. P. Alleluia.)   O Queen of the world most worthy, Mary, Virgin perpetual, intercede on behalf of our peace and safety thou who didst  bring forth  Christ the Lord, the Savior of us all. (P.T. Alleluia)
Celebratis solemniss, Domine, quae pro sanctae Mariae Reginae nostrae, festivitate peregimus: ejus, quasumus, nobis intercessione fiant salutaria: in cujus honore sunt exsultanter impleta. Per Dominum nostrum.   We have reached the end, O Lord, of the solemnities for this festivity of holy Mary our Queen: in her honor exultantly we performed them: may her intercession be salutary on our behalf. Through our Lord.
Commemoration of St. Petonilla
Satiasti, Domine, familiam tuam muneribus sacris: ejus, quaesumus, semper interventione nos refove, cujus solemnia celbramus. Per Dominum nostrum. Thou hast filled Thy household, O Lord, with holy gifts: do Thou cherish us always, through the intercession of her whose festival we are keeping. Through our Lord.
