Ps. 33:20-21,2
Multae tribulationes justorum, et de his omnibus liberavit eos Dominus: Dominus custodit omnia ossa eorum unum ex his non conteretur. (Psalm)Benedicam Dominum in omi tempore semper laus ejus in ore meo. Gloria Patri. Miltae...   Many are the afflications of the just, and out of all thse the Lord hath delivered them: the Lord keepeth all their bones; not one of them shall be broken.(Psalm) I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall be always in my mouth. Glory be to the Father. Many are...
We beseech Thee, almighty God, that on this day's festival  we may receive a twofold joy in the triumph of blessed John and Paul, Whom the same fatih and the same martyrdom made to be brethren indeed. Through our Lord. Through our Lord.
Ecclus. 44:10-15
These are men of mercy, whose godly deeds have not failed: Good things continue with their seed, Their posterity are a holy inheritance, and their seed hath stood in the covenants. And their children for their sakes remain for ever: their seed and their glory shall not be forsaken. Their bodies are buried in peace, and their name liveth unto generation and generation. Let the people shew forth their wisdom, and the church declare their praise.
Ps. 119:1-2
Dómine, líbera ánimam meam a lábiis iníquis et a lingua dolósa.   In my trouble I cried to the Lord, and He heard me. O Lord, deliver my soul from wicked lips and a deceitful tongue.
Alleluia, alleluia. Alleluia.   Alleluia, alleluia. Thy saints shall bless Thee, O Lord, they shall speak of the glory of Thy Kingdom. Alleluia.
Lk. 12:1-8
At that time, Jesus to his disciples: Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed: nor hidden, that shall not be known. For whatsoever things you have spoken in darkness, shall be published in the light: and that which you have spoken in the ear in the chambers, shall be preached on the housetops. And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will shew you whom you shall fear: fear ye him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? Yea, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows. And I say to you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God.
Ps. 5:12-13
Gloriabuntur in te omnes, qui diligunt nomen tuum, quoniam tu, Domine, benedices justo Domine, ut scuto bonae voluntatis tuae coronasti nost.   All they that love Thy name shall glory in Thee, for Thou, O Lord, wilt bless the just: O Lord, Thou hast crowned us, as with a shield of Thy good will. .
Graciouly receive, O Lord, the oblations consecrated to Thee through the merits of Thy holy Martyrs John and Paul; and grant that they may be to us a perpetual help. Through our Lord.
Common Preface
Cum quibus et nostras voces ut admitti jubeas, deprecamur supplici confessione dicentes:      It it truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord: through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominations worship, Powers stand in awe: the Heavens and the host of heaven with blessed Seraphim unite, exult and celebrate and we entreat that Thou wouldst bid our voices also to be heard with theirs, singing with lowly praise:
Wis 3:4,5,6
Though in the sight of men they suffered torments, God hath tried them: as gold in the furnace He hath proved them , as a holocaust He hath received them.
Sumpsimus, Domine, sanctorum Martyrum tuoprum Joannis et Pauli solemia celbrantes, sacramenta coelestia praesta, quaesumus; ut quod temporaliter gerimus, aeternis gaudiis consequamur. Per Dominum nostrum.   We have received, O Lord, Thy heavenly Sacraments, on this festival kept by us in honor of Thy holy Martyrs John and Paul: grant, we beseech Thee, that the rite we are even now completing may bring to us eternal joys. Through our Lord.
